One of the ways we find these retired babies homes is by holding meet and greet functions. This allows people to meet adoptable greyhounds, and fall in love with “The One”. It’s so rewarding to be part of the process!

However, to do meet and greets, we must have dogs in foster homes. Someone to love and take care of the dogs until they find their forever homes. Someone to bring them to a meet and greet. Someone to help the dogs find their own couch.

SOME THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW: GPAEC will provide everything you need to foster a greyhound: crate, food, dishes, medical care, flea and tick preventatives… the only thing you need to provide is love and a home. And to bring that greyhound to a meet and greet once a month. Or more, if you like.

If you’ve fostered before, you know how rewarding it is. If you have not, please consider trying it just once. After all, someone fostered your baby! Why not pay it forward?!
