Recently it was announced that the Mobile Greyhound Park will end live greyhound racing in August. Fox10 News featured a story about it, speaking with a greyhound adopter and advocate located in Mobile, AL.

There will be a large number of dogs coming off the track. A few may travel to other tracks to race, but most of them will come into greyhound adoption.

Many groups have come forward to help, and GPA National is overseeing the process to ensure all dogs that retire are moving to adoption groups.

Our group has offered to help move 20 dogs, and will be responsible for vetting and transporting dogs to either local foster homes or sister groups out of the area. The situation is still developing and the number of dogs may change over time; we are committed to help until all the dogs are placed.

If you can support our efforts, we would greatly appreciate the help.
